BE VERY CAREFUL scam at the attraction desk on the right of the elevator. We were sold the trip to the floating market at a very suspicious low price. Once you have driven one hour and a half there that’s where the camp start 4000 baht just for the boat. And they will stop you only at places where they have commission, you are not in charge of the places you can stop at. Other than that, the hotel is very clean. They were located and there is not against the hotel just the attraction desk.

Location was great, right in the lively Sukhumvit neighbourhood close to restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms were a good size, and clean. The staff are attentive and helpful, ready to lend umbrellas or book taxis with a smile. We spent most of our stay out and about, only returning to the hotel to freshen up or sleep; and this property suited our travel style and plans perfectly.

Travelodge is one of those hotels that knows how to get all the details of a room right. The room size, the lighting, the bed comfort and the bathroom are all done as good as I expect a hotel to be like but often are not, this one gets all these details right. There are two buildings, one with the main lobby and a secondd building next door with no check in but this buulding has the restaurant (great food, breakfast etc with outdoor seating available) as well as rooftop pool (small) and fitness center. This building had a larger room than the one I had in main lobby building, so I'd try and get your room there. That room was absolutely perfect, and the layout was one of my favorite in the many hotels I've stayed in.

I really enjoyed my stay with Travelodge.. but I personally preferred it more during low season. I also preferred the added privacy of staying in the other building that was accessed from behind the restaurant. However this is the first place I check for accomodation when travelling into bangkok.
